A Batting Helmet is key in baseball. It protects your head and face from injury and gives you a safe feeling that can't be matched.
Basic Features of Baseball Batting Helmets
We carry Easton Baseball Batting Helmets. They are protective as anything and are the same ones used in both the Little League World Series and the College World Series. Features include:
High grade ABS shell
Meets NOCASE standards
Soft urethane comfort
Rubberized matte finish
Size of Helmets
Easton Helmets come in two different size ranges. The SR sizes fit a range from 6-7/8 to 7-5/8. The JR sizes fit a range of 6-3/8 to 7-1/8. For in-between sizes, Easton makes extra padding called a fit kit.
Choosing the Right Baseball Helmet
It can seem complicated so we've decided to make it real simple. We have split our batting helmets up into three categories: Good, Better, and Best level.
Just click the heading below for the category of helmet that best fits your needs, or narrow your search even further by selecting the exact skill level you are looking for!
-- These helmets are great for first year or rec players that are maybe only playing weekends and just need something to get by. It is the shiny style and does not have the grip finish to it, but the insides are the same as the "best" level helmets so it protects you just as well.
-- These helmets have the same insides as the shiny series, but are flashier and have more color options. They have a new style finish called "Grip" which has a matte look to it. There is no doubt it looks a lot nicer, and if you are playing on a travel team and they want everyone's helmets to match, this would be the way to go.
-- These helmets are for your serious travel ball, high school, or club team player. Like I have been hammering home, the insides of these are the same as the "good" level helmets, but the truth is the two-tone style simply looks the best, and kids really like the look of it. A lot of teams like to match and as the saying goes, "look good, feel good, and you will play good."
At Closeout Bats we stock what we sell! We have a huge warehouse and are NOT drop shipping bats like many web sites. We also sell bats out of our physical store, so sometimes things sell out before we can get them off the Web site.
Limited quantities available. Prices subject to change without notice. Like we say, if it's on the site, it's in the warehouse -- just SOMETIMES it might have some other player's name on it! If you snooze, you lose, so ORDER YOURS NOW!
